You don t want them going too far above your teeth. When I first looked at the molds I thought I had to pick one, before I realized I had to form them both to my teeth. So that wasn t really clear and I wish it had been.
On the front part of the mold is a tag to hold onto while dipping it into hot water.
I didn t use boiling water, but I used close to boiling water and just added some cold water.
I then put the mouth guard in and formed it by putting it in my mouth and biting into it.
It took about 30 seconds to form the mould. When I did this I felt the mold went a bit high and irritated my gums a bit, which is why I suggested you might want to trim it off a bit.
With this system you don t inject anything into your body. The injectors are used to inject the two solution into your mouth guard mould.
The first injector contains the whitening agent.
